Due to requests from previous guests, we can now offer you the opportunity to really chill out and spoil yourself during your time with us.
Nicki Bacon is our very own beauty and holistic therapist with over six years experience in the beauty industry. Nicki is available to offer treatments during your stay at Broxmead Paddock. These treatments help to restore the harmony between mind, body and spirit leaving you completely relaxed. Using only the purest plant extracts and essential oils, Nicki uses the Susan Molyneux skin care range for all facials – no lanolin, no formaldehyde, no synthetic colours or perfumes and no testing on animals. Suitable for even the most sensitive skin.
We can offer tailored packages to suit your individual needs. Listed below are some of the treatments Nicki offers:-
- Relaxation Facial – treatment time 1 hour. A lovely treatment which will leave you totally relaxed and your skin feeling radiant and smooth. Suitable for all skin types. £25
- Aromatic Facial - treatment time 1 hour . A soothing and beneficial treatment using essential oils which have been carefully selected to help balance the skin and maintain its youthful appearance. Suitable for all skin types. £30
- Back, Neck and Shoulder Massage – treatment time 40 minutes. Totally relaxing massage to ease your aches and pains and soothe your tensions away with the oils chosen for your specific needs. £20
- Foot and Leg Massage – treatment time 30 minutes. An essential and well deserved treatment for the feet and legs, using aromatherapy oils, a must for tired and aching feet. £15
- Full Body Massage – treatment time 1 hour 15 mins. A full body massage using precious essential oils, this treatment is the ultimate in luxury and is particularly useful in treating stress related conditions. The oils are blended after consultation, to your individual needs. £35
- Full Manicure – treatment time 1 hour. £20
- Full Pedicure – treatment time 1 hour. £20

Chickens!
In 2010 we were delighted to welcome six very special fluffy ladies to Broxmead Paddock. Eglatine, Henrietta, Fenella and friends produce for your delectation and delight all the eggs used at Broxmead Paddock. They reside at the bottom of the garden and are always delighted to welcome visitors.
Patience pays off – eventually!
After years of watering, feeding, coaxing, theatening, and intermittent neglect our poor camelia has, at last, produced beautiful healthy blooms. I will assume the invitation to exhibit at chelsea is in the post!
Spring in Yellow
This weekend I am making the most of the beautiful spring weather by planting seeds in the greenhouse. In between times Broxmead evening meals have taken on spring colours too. Here’s one, a creme caramel showing off our matching yellow rose china Mothers Day

Broxmead BBQ
As an alternative to dinner indoors and following previous guests’ requests, Broxmead barbecue baskets are now available for you DIY enthusiasts. Simply order and collect your basket containing fresh local fish/steaks, salad, fruit and accompaniments, a disposable barbecue and a bottle of house wine or wine from our local vineyard, grab one of our allocated BBQ spots in the 3 acres of garden, sit back, chill out and relax in the knowledge that if you can’t find your way home you will enjoy a peaceful and relaxed evening under the stars!
